The Location

Mount Sharon is located in historic Orange County, lifetime home of America’s fourth President and author of the U.S. Constitution, James Madison, and is in the center of Virginia’s “horse country,” situated in the renown Keswick fox hunting territory. Washington, D.C. is 1 1⁄2 hours, Dulles International Airport, 1 hour 20 minutes, Charlottesville, 40 minutes, Fredericksburg, 30 minutes, and Middleburg, 1 hour away. Orange County Airport (3,200-ft paved and lighted strip) is a five-minute drive. In addition to Orange County Public Schools, Mount Sharon is in close proximity to several excellent private schools including Woodberry Forest and Grymes Memorial School.
